Geography Education Resources
The National Geographic Education Programs organizes the Geography Awareness Week as an annual public awareness program. This annual program was established by Presidential proclamation in the US almost 25 years ago. Its objective is to encourage people to think and learn about the interconnectedness of the world. Visit the National Geographic education website for project ideas, multimedia activities and downloadable materials for teachers and informal educators.
